CT Member Kacy here with some inspiration for you from the HOT desert!
We are entering my least favorite time of the year here in Phoenix. Temperatures are normally above 110 degrees every day, it’s humid, and we get gigantic dust storms and monster thunderstorms nearly every other day. It is really hard to stay cool or comfortable if you have to leave the house.
My friend and I have birthdays within 3 weeks of each other, and we usually celebrate by taking a weekday off of work and relaxing by the pool at a local hotel. We rent a pool cabana and have lunch and drinks while reading a book or cooling off in the fantastic salt water pool.
What symbolizes summer to you? Is it the ability to wear flip-flops? Do the kids go off to camp? We’d love to see your scrapbook pages – link us up in the comments!
