Hi, team member Terresa here. I love home decor and especially enjoy birdhouses to welcome Spring indoors.  Today I want to show you how to create a little personalized birdhouse for your home.

Supplies: Wood birdhouse, Printed scrapbook paper, Paint, Glue, Template

I used some lovely paper from A fresh Start kit. The colors were  bright and cheerful just perfect for the front of the birdhouse.  

I drew a template from the back of the birdhouse.  Then I took the template and traced the holes on the front of the birdhouse.  Once those were cut out I copied my template to the printed paper.  

Now that I have my finished cover completed, I am ready to paint the bird house.  I chose a cream and grey combination of colors.  Grey for the roof. For the sides and the back I painted the cream color.  Once the paint was dry, I glued my paper cut out to the front of the house.   

I placed my little bit of spring birdhouse on a shelf in my kitchen and it looks so cheerful!
