Hello, Leah here! Let’s talk about templates today. I know many scrappers who use templates. Some claim templates are their best friend while others still do not know how to use them. A few, I might say, are even afraid of them.
Hello, LoriJ here! I love to scrap, just as I am sure you all do as well. I love all the new kits each week and always want to play with them right away. But one thing I find sometimes is that the wonderful themed or specialty kits often come out before the holiday. For example, this weekend the Sweet Shoppe is full of beautiful and fun St. Patrick’s Day themed kits, but St. Patrick’s Day isn’t until next week and seriously, who can wait a full week without opening and scrapping with a brand new kit!
February is already drawing to a close, can you believe it? As it does, I am reminded of just how many LOVE themed kits I have seen (and snagged, lol) this month. I will admit, I love those kits, but I do struggle to use them sometimes. Don’t get me wrong, I am happily married to my best friend. We have been together for over 16 years now, and I am still glad I married him (well, most days, J ). But we are not overly mushy, and to be perfectly honest, there are only so many lovey-dovey pages I can make about him, or our marriage, before he starts to get a little too confident in just how ‘romantic’ he is, (he he). So, that got me asking the question: how can I use these beautiful LOVE themed kits in other ways, so that I can utilize all that gorgeousness throughout the year? I decided to look through the gallery for some ideas and inspiration. I found some great ones too! I want to share them with you here, because I really think I can’t be the only one who has this problem during and needs a little inspiration!!
Happy Valentine’s Day! February has our minds turning to love. Whether you are scrapping about your significant other, your adorable kid(s), a romantic Valentine’s celebration, or the everyday bonds you share with others, you are sure to find some timely February page helps for journaling.
